Winemaker on his forklift

This is John Kinney working in his winery.  His winery, Occasio, has a very clean and tidy tank room.  I am a sucker for stainless steel equipment, labs and forklifts.  I love the yin and yang (thanks FJ) of the winemakers in the vineyards with dirt, grapes, vines and then in the clean tank rooms, chemistry labs, barrels and bottling lines.  It is a long way from grape to glass.

  1. Really like the angel of the shot…also love how utterly clean it is….makes me feel better about drinking wine, especially after the foot photograph!

  2. Lovely! Did you notice (I’m sure you did) that the reflection on the tank end evokes an ‘enso’?…symbolizing enlightenment, strength, elegance, the Universe, and the void…an “expression of the moment.”

    • I didn’t know that term but I did like the reflection on the tank and how it swirled the light. Moira, you always have a great eye for interesting details in the photos. Much appreciated. You must be an awesome instructor! Thanks for stopping by.
