San Diego Automobile Museum Volkswagen Exhibit

September 30th – January 29 the San Diego Auto Museum in Balboa Park has an exhibit of the history of VW. Obviously if you know me, I had to go to this.  I have been to the Museum many times and enjoy the collection of cars and motorcycles.  Having VWs displayed made it a little more special for me. My wife enjoyed the Kombi (bus) with full camping gear treatment.  Nostalgia at it’s best!!! This shot of the front of the museum with the VW parked, painted in flat paint for anyone who wants to write a message on it in chalk. I like the feet of the child on the other side as he writes on the car. Glad they used a year VW that no true VW lover would care that they were messing with it. If they had done this with a 67 or before…
